my love has gone away…
5x04 // 5x10
for @atlasbellamy
listen… as angry as we all are about bellarke no one is as livid as roan kom azgeda, the one true blarke, who’s screaming at them from the afterlife…
The script line of “Bellamy doesn’t take the bait” absolutely confirms that this is a transition to romantic Bellarke. Had Octavia been implying platonic love, it wouldn’t have been an attack on Bellamy to throw him off his argument. It has already been established that Bellamy and Clarke love each other on a platonic level; that much is visible to anyone with eyes. In order for, “who you love,” to be the emotional target Octavia is looking for, it would have to imply that Bellamy loves Clarke in a way that is more than platonic, which is further explained by the comparison to his relationship with Echo. In this essay, I will—
Here we go again, pleading for the life of a traitor who you love.
#cinematic parallels
I love the implications of Bellamy and Clarke’s reunion scene is that that’s how’d they always be. Without the immediate sense of danger and without their past misunderstandings or the weight of the world on their shoulders, they’d be soft and sweet and impossibly kind with each other. They got a little moment of what their lives could be if they weren’t them.
I’m probably leaning too much on what was said outside of the actual show but someone, I can’t remember who, wrote that watching Bellamy and Clarke together without the weight of their past was magical. And someone else said something like ‘the two of them together is like breathing.’
I mean, that’s so special. All of Bellamy’s relationships are going to change and become harder and yet the one that he seems to fit into so easily is the one he has with her.
“Madi? she’s safe. she is in the woods with the others. Diyoza won’t look for them as long as we are in control. You are all still alive…Murphy, Monty, Raven? Echo and Emori. Yeah, You saved us all.”
you really thought bellamy and clarke would just open the door like normal people?! no bitch!! bellamy and clarke blew open the roof and propelled down from the ceiling like the drama queens they fucking are!! bellarke is back bitches!! get with the program!!
“283 lives for one.”
The fact that Bellamy Blake dropped from space and appeared to Clarke like an angel bathed in light at the exact moment she needed him most during those 6 years is the most amazing and least surprising thing to ever happen on this show.
bastille released a new song. bellarke reunited. all was well.
Time slipped away, we stayed the same.
Like you were never gone
Bellamy before knowing Clarke is alive: We are not killing 300 people.
Bellamy in exchange for Clarke’s life: I will kill 283 people like I’m fucking thanos jr bitch try me
How about i give you 283? that’s how many of your people are gonna die if you and i can’t make a deal. That’s far enough.
