FAVE MALE CHARACTERS - jace herondale (the mortal instruments)
I don’t want to be a man. I want to be an angst-ridden teenager who can’t confront his own inner demons and takes it out verbally on other people instead.

FAVE MALE CHARACTERS - jace herondale (the mortal instruments)

Jace Herondale
“I don’t know who I am. I look at myself in the mirror and I see Stephen Herondale, but I act like a Lightwood and talk like my father—like Valentine. So I see who I am in your eyes, and I try to be that person, because you have faith in that person and I think faith might be enough to make me what you want.”
moodboards: Jace Herondale
I was hoping that they’d put up flyers like they do for lost cats. Missing, one stunningly attractive teenage boy. Answers to ‘Jace’ or ‘Hot Stuff’.
‘the mortal instruments’ aesthetic.
— Jace Lightwood Herondale.“I don’t want to be a man,“ said Jace. “I want to be an angst-ridden teenager who can’t confront his own inner demons and takes it out verbally on other people instead.”
jace whatever his last name is
Book & Song associations:
Book: “The Mortal Instruments” series by Cassandra Clare
Song: “Saturn” by Sleeping at Last
Why: I came across this song while reading CoHF and I kept listening to it throughout the entire book. It really got to me while reading the epilogue (CoHF’s epilogue + “Saturn” = tears). It finally hit me that it’s the end of this series. While listening to this song I remembered (& still do every time) everything that happened since the first time Clary saw Jace at Pandemonium. Everytime I listen to this song it brings tears and memories. It means a real whole lot to me.
